Hi men!, after a couple of attempts i resolve this question, i set the gr1 to MONO mode on the MIDI CHANNEL 1 with PITCH BEND 12 I used Logic Express 9 to record midi data setting score Style to GUITAR MIX. In the beginning i see that notes are recorded in the 2th octave uneast of 3th. Did a transposition od one octave up and then I need to work with channel assignements for every note to match the correct posdition in tab. for a couple fo beats i stand for 3 or 5 minutes but the transcription was perfect even with some midi tweaking. In logix express I set the quantization to default and recorded guitar lines afrom 60 to 100 bpm and in both cases iI obtain very good results playing arpeggios with open strings or some licks (without legato o r bend obviously...) Midi interface was a Roland/kakewalk UMG 1 with this settings: Thru: ON Advanced Driver:ON At teh end transcribe with GR1 is possibile but need some twekin especially working with channel settings to obtain the right number in tablature style... but at the end is possible, even with an old but lovely machine like the GR1 !!! 2012/6/1, Leslie Fradkin <lfradkin <at> mac.com>: > Fulvio, > > There really is no reliable setting/patch on the GR-1 which will accurately > deliver > notation without glitches. The Ztar is a better choice as Joel recommends. >(Continue reading)
