Nice, that's an impressive amount of hacks. Thank you for your efforts!

While the compatibility with the newer DC++ versions is being improved,
I hope that the original DC protocol compatibility is also preserved in
Valknut so that it's fully functional with older clients also, like e.g.
oDC 5.31. Is it? :)

[The latest DC-incompatible (A)DC++ clients are causing helluva havoc in
the DC community, and I see them sometimes getting banned from certain
quality DC hubs which point out the importance of compatibility with the
DC protocol. (They're DC hubs, not ADC hubs.)]

Yes, it is still fully compatible with oDC 5.31 and DC++ 0.306, nothing
has been removed from the codebase, only new things added. There have
been some changes to the UGetBlock handling to make valknut's behaviour
match the specification, but that should only improve compatibility
(although the old code didn't seem to cause any problems).
