Hi, Is this a good place to ask question about Spectrum IM configuration? There doesn't seem to be a more official location. Over the course of the past six months, I've jumped from jabberd + PyMSNt to Openfire + Kraken to ejabberd + Spectrum, all with the goal of having a smoothly functioning MSN transport for my jabber users. PyMSNt used to serve handles in the format user%example.com <at> msn.transport.com. Like a few others, when I transitioned to Kraken, I was slightly confused and frustrated by the work required to update all of our rosters to the newer format of user\40example.com <at> msn.transport.com. At first, we decided to implement a configuration hack for Kraken in order to continue to use the % symbol. But upon some reading, \40 seemed to be the proper, standard method, so my users and I all updated and we removed the hack. Fast forward to today, and an update to our CardDAV server (10.7.2. Lion Server) broke the ability to store "\40" in an IM handle. Now, while I know this is undoubtedly a flaw in the CardDAV server software, I'm wondering if there is any way in Spectrum that I can similarly apply the "\40" -> % hack that I could apply in Kraken? Thanks in advance, Jay _______________________________________________ JAdmin mailing list FAQ: http://www.jabber.org/discussion-lists/jadmin-faq Forum: http://www.jabberforum.org/forumdisplay.php?f=19 Info: http://mail.jabber.org/mailman/listinfo/jadmin Unsubscribe: JAdmin-unsubscribe <at> jabber.org _______________________________________________
