Problem adding new yahoo contacts using pyyimt

Hi,

I am using PyYimt over openfire server. When I try to add a new
contact using pyyimt in pidgin, ideally, the new contact should get an
auth request from me. but this doesn't happen.

The scenario:

Logged into yahoo client using ID example1, logged into pyyimt in
pidgin using ID example2.

When I try to add the other user using pyyimt, example1 doesn't get an
authorization request, and his presence is not shown to example2, and
vice versa.

Messaging works, but presence doesn't work. Is this a known issue?
