Mounting Multiple AFP Shares
2010-03-09 17:54:12 GMT
I'm fairly new to netatalk, but I have successfully installed and configured it to allow our users from OS 9 - 10.5 to access shares. Netatalk is being used on an Ubuntu server as a substitute for an Apple Xserve for file sharing. The goal is to setup user accounts for each department at my company (ie composing, editorial, commericlal, etc) and share the home folder via Netatalk. I've setup each of the accounts and I can mount each share. My problem is that I have some folks who need to mount more than one share (ie editorial and commercial). From my OS X test machine, I can't mount an additional share once I have one mounted. Is this just how netatalk behaves or am I doing something wrong? What is the best way to reach my goal? Thanks
