Hello all,

I’m fairly new to OpenNMS and although I have it working there are some things that I’d like to modify that I can’t seem to grasp.

The biggest thing  is the notifications.  I have 3 users configured, and 2 groups configured, and 2 roles configured.

The idea being that 2 of the users are admins and will be on call for everything, and the 3rd user only needs to know about specific device issues.  

On the notification side I have 1 destination-path notification configuration set up where it emails user1, and then escalates and pages User 1 and 2. 

Where I’m confused is how do I make the 3rd user get pages for his devices.  And as well, how does the user schedules interact with the Destination path notification setup I have already configured.

It almost seems like there are 2 different notification settings and it looks like the destination path one is working, but the user schedule isn’t doing anything.  For all I know I’m totally confused and none of this is actually set up correctly lol.

Anyone have any experience in what I’m going through ?
