newbie - need LDAP configuration

first time poster here. I just installed openvpn - i am thinking of providing vpn services to our user. what are the configurations requirement for LDAP authentication for vpn users ? most of my users uses windows and mac then linux. I installed openvn server on Centos box

any tip would be appreciated

I use this plugin: http://code.google.com/p/openvpn-auth-ldap/

 

It’s very easy to configure. I use this against a OpenLDAP server. I have tested it with 389 Directory Server as well. I have also wrote some custom scripts that verify the cert the user is connecting with matches their LDAP username. As a added level of security.
