XRDP is the server not the client.

The clients are either rdesktop (www.rdesktop.org) or freerdp 
(http://www.freerdp.com/).

Video works well if there is enough bandwidth and the terminal from where you 
connect has a good enough CPU (ex: 466 mhz seems two slow for video, 2ghz 
seems enough).  Someone else on this list may tell you the current state of 
sound forwarding in detail (both for the Linux clients and the XRDP server).
