Transfer hangs - solved for me

Hi,

I have had the same problem. I have seen you are using Gentoo like me so I
focused to the changes in Gentoo. I found openssh package had been upgraded to
 net-misc/openssh-6.0_p1 just before problems appeared.

Downgrade to net-misc/openssh-5.9_p1-r4 resolved the issue.

Good catch! I had considered the Windows-side ssh as the culprit for
some time, but never considered the Linux-side ssh. Downgrading worked
for me as well.

Knowing this fact, I even found that there already is a bug report about
this: https://bugs.gentoo.org/414401
There are some suggestions about how to solve this issue, apart from the
downgrade. Apparently either disabling the hpn USE flag or
the TcpRcvBufPoll option will make this problem go away as well.

My trees are in sync now, but I guess the next time I have changes to
transfer, I'll toy with those solutions and see how they work.

Thanks again,
 Martin
