HostAP settings

Where should HostAP settings go in the layout?

I was thinking of making a new page hostapsettings.php which would allow
the configuration of hostap for each WIF.

Should the interface be so closely tied to the lower level details or is
the project trying to have a more process oriented design.

For example I'd create a bridging page instead where you could set up
wireless bridging and all the configuration options that go with
`brctl`.

Cheers,
Chris

Re: HostAP settings

Hi Chris,

I am watching this list since a month now and I know that you are hacking
WIFIADMIN with new features. I wonder if you will post those hacks to the
mailing list or not. I will be quite interested in testing those new
features. Just a try.
Bets regards
Giorgio

Re: HostAP settings

Hi Giorgio,

I'm working on getting write access to CVS. Currently I have been
stalled at work loaded down with other projects, but I have a basic
`brctl` *status* page running.

I'm not sure the best way to expose the HostAP configs, but I'll sleep
on it and see what I can come up with.

Rest assured, whatever I do this summer you'll be able to get a hold of,
I just hope it's not a disappointment.

Cheers,
Chris
