Unable to associate to ap

Hello!

I am completely clueless, but after a wee kstrugling around i can not 
connect to my access point, which is a belkin pre-n.

I use the Zydas ZyAir 220-G stick. Under Windiws everything is fine.

I use Ubuntu Dapper Drake, Kernel is 2.6.15-25 PREEMPT i686

I did modprobe -r zd1211 and build the latest available version of the 
driver r80.

make
make install

Successfully did depmod -a and modprobe -v zd1211

Thats what dmesg says:

The biggest problem seems to be, that in dmesg

wlan0: link is not ready

does not change and that iwconfig reports:

Rx invalid frag: 1350

so only invalid fragmented packages. Any help?????
