Hi! I got donated Cisco Aironet 1200 and I am wondering how could I use it in an OLSR/ad-hoc mesh. As far as I know it does not support neither Linux neither OLSR? I was thinking of maybe using it as a simple repeater (gets a wifi frame, sends a wifi frame) but I really do not know how would this influence a mesh. Probably it could work as it would only propagate frames. But still - what about timings (there will still be a delay when repeating), those nodes which will get duplicate frames will probably solve this already on a link level (the same as some reflections), but will it interfere (colissions) with packets sent later on from the originating node? (I am not even sure if I set setup this on Cisco.) Any experience with this? Any suggestions? Mitar _______________________________________________ WLANware mailing list WLANware@...
