Can't get touch handlers to fire?

Hi,

I can't get touch handlers to fire:

RootPanel rp = RootPanel.get("dummy");
rp.sinkEvents(Event.TOUCHEVENTS);
rp.addHandler(new TouchStartHandler() {
    <at> Override
    public void onTouchStart(TouchStartEvent event) {
        // touch down!
    }
}, TouchStartEvent.getType());

What am I missing?

Thanks
