Moving an LVM to a raided drive

Wow that was fun! (some sarcasm here).

I took a drive that was configured with LVM and stuck it on a software  
raided drive.

This was all completed while the machine was still running. Of course  
the drives were already in the machine as well.

LVM's are definitely the way to go.
