YMA looking forward to volunteers, executive council members

Dear All,

Founded by members of this list, Yavarkumana Menporul Arakkatalai - 
indigenous Software Foundation for Free Software is looking forward to 
expand its activities.

We are about to revice our executive council & would like to have young 
as well as experienced people - dedicated to the cause of Free Software 
to be on part of it.

As of now, Our activities as of now is confined to the limits of 
Tamilnadu. If you are interested to be part of it, please mail me offline.

The tamil meaning is more suggestive of
'unrestricted'

Anybody's software foundation.
Name of the foundation should include 'freedom'.

menporul does not suggest 'knowledge' and is derived from 'product'.
I would like that changed too.

Well, that might at times confuse, is it FSF.

A lot us are part of that also.

We have Apache Software Foundation, SPI all dedicated to Free/ Open 
Source Software.

Though we registered it as Menporul - as that is how is has been 
established over the period of time, Personally, I have started 
referring Software simply as Menmam (suggested by Ila. Sundaram) these 
days.

But, as the name has been registered, it requires more effort to take it 
off.
