Minutes of Meeting #44

Dear Pingwini,

Minutes of Committee Meeting #44 have been uploaded to linux.org.mt

May I remind you that the AGM shall be held Saturday 18th October. For  
newcomers, this is where we discuss yearly progress and elect a new  
committee. The nominations are as follows:

Chairman: Raphael
PRO: Anton
Secretary: Yours truly
Membership Officer: No nominations yet
Assistant Secretary: No nominations yet
Treasurer: No nominations yet

Please feel free to nominate yourselves or someone else for any post  
above (even if it already has nominations)

Can you please briefly (practical) describe these aforementioned
roles? I know it was discussed very early in the committee startup but
I believe the roles evolved.

In practice everyone lends a hand at everything. Apart from that, the chairman chairs the meetings (ie, says welcome) and the secretary jots down the minutes and circulates the next agenda.
