CERN Large Hadron Collider uses...

Thankfully the most powerful particle collider in the world is running Linux.

I suspect a blue screen of death on that thing would spell actual death... of the planet :P

Actually it's quite safe, says Hawking.

Actually I was a bit disappointed. They said we'd all meet in Geneva on Wednesday - albeit briefly :)
