Time to get our collective ass in gear!
All right folks, believe it or don't, I've managed to free myself up a few days here. I've been trying to set my home machine as a virtual host for bsdevents.org and due to the way my ISP implements DNS (as well as a faux pas or two by my ISP and yours truly), it's been a little slow-going. However, the domain should be propagating to a server near you within a few days.(Continue reading)The first thing I plan to do is move this mailing list to that server. I've already got virtual hosting under Apache ready to rock, but still need to enable virtual hosting on Postfix, which I'm unfamiliar with, so it may take a day or so. After I move the list, I will set up a bot to connect the two #BSD-Advocacy channels. Then, it will be time to set up CVS accounts. In the interest of security, I will not be offering shells (unless absolutely necessary), but I do plan on setting up another list to coordinate the development effort. ---BEGIN TODO (THIS MEANS YOU!!!)--- Those of you who will be volunteering their excellent PHP/Smarty/database skills, PLEASE send let me know so that I can set you up CVS accounts! ---END TODO--- To get the ball rolling with development, I will put together a directory structure and a Makefile or three and we'll take it from
