Window icons in X11multi-window mode

When running X11 in multi-window mode, all X applications have the same
"X" icon in Microsoft Windows.  This makes it harder to tell applications
apart quickly.

Is there a way to get X11 to have Windows use the normal X application
icon that would be used if you were running X11 with a root window and a
window manager?
