As for the previous branches, I'll provide binary packages for
NetBSD 2.1 and 3.0 i386 and sparc. I started the builds yesterday,
I'll post a note to pkgsrc-users <at> when the first upload is complete.

Couldn't be better to provide the packages for 3.1 (instead of 3.0), which
will(?) be released this week?

3.0 packages will work on 3.1 as well, but not the other way around.

Yes, I understand that (as well as the older ones, f.e. for 2.1) - but I
suppose, the package set for 3.1 will be somewhat "refreshed", comparing to
that for 3.0?

My question was because of the soon(?) to be available 3.1; in my opinion,
there will be much more people interested in ready-made packages especially
for 3.1 (mee too), just because it'll be quite new installations.

When built from the same branch (pkgsrc-2006Q3), the 3.0 packages will be
just as "fresh".

Install the 3.0 packages on your 3.1 system, they will work just fine.

They will be from the same branch? That's all right then.
