Well it boots okay.

Can't run vmstat at the moment as my userland (circa 4.99.12) is too far 
out of step but according to top no swapping has occurred during boot. 
In normal use the system hardly ever swaps so anthing out of the 
ordinary there will show up.

No evidence of that so far. I'll update the userland and put it under a 
bit of stress and see what happens but so far so good.
