I switched to supervisor too, but I didn't change to 256 colours ( 
stuck to 16 to save memory ) - I'll try that too.

Hmm, last time I tried (around 1.5 or so) it didn't find my ANT Ether3 
maybe it will work now.

256 colours are required because last time I looked at it the NetBSD 
raster console code couldn't support little-endian framebuffers at <8bpp. 
It's possible that this is fixed now.

Maybe it is, if not I could probably do it - spent the last few months 
hacking console/framebuffer drivers on other platforms. But this 
requires getting it to boot.

Last time I tried ( ages ago ) /some/ Ether3 boards were supported but 
not mine. Do these boards just share the name for some reason or is the 
hardware sufficiently similar to be supported by a single driver?
