Keyboard issues after exiting X

Hi, all,

I'm not sure how many people out there are running X on their hpcmips
machines, but I think it's pretty nifty. However, whenever I leave X, the
keyboard is screwed up - keys register, but nothing close to anything
sane.

The machine I have is an NEC MobilePro 690 running NetBSD 5.0.2. Any
suggestions?

Thanks,
John Klos

My Mobilepro 880 does this too. I keep ssh running on it so I can
reboot it remotely to "fix" it. I imagine there is a pr on this but I
haven't looked.

Sorry, no help this time.

Sounds like this problem

To work around it, instead of plain startx use

    $ startx -- -terminate
