Hi, Since netbsd-6 is an ever-moving target still, I figured I'd ask here first. I compiled a netbsd-6 GENERIC kernel and put it on my VAXstation 4000/90a along with netbsd-6 base.tgz. After reboot, it hangs. If I boot using a netbsd-5 userland, the kernel boots fine. If I boot -a, it asks for init, then hangs. ... scsibus0: waiting 2 seconds for devices to settle... sd0 at scsibus0 target 0 lun 0: <IBM-IC35, L180AVV207-1, V2FB> disk fixed sd0: 172 GB, 89752 cyl, 64 head, 63 sec, 512 bytes/sect x 361882080 sectors sd0: sync (160.00ns offset 8), 8-bit (6.250MB/s) transfers, tagged queueing boot device: sd0 root on sd0a dumps on sd0b root on sd0a dumps on sd0b root file system type: ffs The only way out is dropping to the boot ROM prompt. There is no response on the serial port when it hangs. ?02 EXT HLT PC= 800BC373 PSL= 00C00004 Ideas? Thanks, John(Continue reading)
