    imports ports/textproc/p5-LaTeX-Encode, merged from submissions by Andrew Fresh
    and Chris Bennett. Earlier version OK landry <at> 

    TeX::Encode exports the function 'latex_encode' which encodes
    characters in a string, that would be incorrectly interpreted by
    LaTeX.
