random firefox freezes in RC1
I used update manager to upgrade from PC-BSD 9.0 to the 9.1-RC1 image and am now experiencing frequent freezes within firefox. Starting firefox in safe mode doesn't seem to help, but while running it, I noticed the following messages in the terminal window: [506] firefox -safe-mode Xlib: extension "RANDR" missing on display ":0.0". /usr/pbi/firefox-amd64/lib/firefox/plugin-container: Undefined symbol "XRE_InitChildProcess" /usr/pbi/firefox-amd64/lib/firefox/plugin-container: Undefined symbol "XRE_InitChildProcess" /usr/pbi/firefox-amd64/lib/firefox/plugin-container: Undefined symbol "XRE_InitChildProcess" ... There appears to be some correlation between each XRE_InitChildProcess message and clicking on a tab or scrolling in a window. These messages repeat about a dozen times. Eventually, firefox displays a "Unresponsive script" dialog box (a URL ending with .js), but clicking the stop script button doesn't seem to help the issue. While all this is happening, the Midori browser doesn't have trouble displaying the same pages choking firefox.
