meeting Friday

        Hey guys,
   I don't think we really need to have a meeting Friday.  There are a
few things I need to let you know, but there really isn't much in the
way of things that need to be discussed.

First of all we are helping to bring 3 Israelis to campus on October
18th.  As soon as we get more info we need to advertise for this hard.
 At least one of them is going to be focusing on the Israel-Hezbollah
conflict. For this we will need to make fliers, get an ad in the
Exponent, and on the PSUB movie ads.

Second, I have the dates for the Madison Midwest Israel Conference.
It will be October 20-22. The cost is $75 if we want hotel rooms, but
we can get part of this covered by our funds.  In the next week or so
we need to get our Travel Planning Forms and Car Rental stuff taken
care of so we are all ready to go.  We are also going to advertise
this trip to HIllel members, and offer to cover part of their
expenses, up to the first 3 people who ask.  Maybe we can get a couple
of more people involved this way.  If you know of anyone interested
please let them know.  Once I get the details on the speakers I will
pass that along, right now all I know is that there are some big name
Israeli journalist and media people who will be there.  I have their
names but no bios or anything.  Once I get that I will make a flier to
put up at Hillel.

Finally, we are working on potentially getting Einet Wilf to visit
campus early November.  She is the former foreign affairs advisor to
Shimon Peres, and from what I've read seems like she could be amazing.
 Again, once I get more info I will pass it on.  This would be an
event we would want to try to get Jewish Studies and or Political
