What seb said... PHP magic quotes is off by default as I recall, and the upgrade process may have failed to look at that setting pre-upgrade. It could also be PHP and Apache not getting along. I too could lend a hand if a hand is needed. I am a programmer & I have experience with PHP, MySQL, Oracle, HTML/CSS. But I have no experience with wiki-type applications.
