Hello Aliza,
You've reached the mailing list for the software that powers the
genome browser on the Melonomics website (which is a new one to me--I
haven't heard of it before). While you can use what we call relative
coordinates in GBrowse searches, which would look like this
"MELO3C012837P1:-3000..-1" and would get you the 3000 bases upstream
of that feature, it doesn't appear that it would do you any good in
this instance, since the owners of this GBrowse instance haven't made
the DNA sequences available. I suggest you contact the owners listed
on the main page to ask for help.
