Thank you. I wanted to let you and the rest of the team know that due to
personal responsibilities I was out of the office and out of touch for
an extended period of time. I look forward to future team deliberations
on ocean observing systems and marine fisheries in advance of the July
SEACOOS and SECOORA meetings.

To get the ball rolling I met with a broad based group of local
scientists to draft some white paper ideas for WFS "fisheries team"
foci. Attached is what we came up with, trying to be broad enough for a
start, while remaining focused in a few manageable areas.
