Adam Kilgarriff and Michael Rundell are running another in the successful 'Lexicom' series of workshops next month, and there are still some vacancies.

 

Lexicom is an intensive 5-day workshop in lexicography and lexical computing, now in its eleventh year. It features seminars on relevant theoretical issues, alternating with hands-on sessions where participants work in small groups to compile dictionary entries, build corpora, and develop word sketches.

 

The workshop would be suitable for anyone with a background in one or more of the following:

lexicography, linguistics, computational linguistics, computer support for dictionary projects, translation, terminology.

 

Dates are 24th-28th September, and the location is the small town of Galtür in the Austrian Tyrol.
