Re: Status and future plans of OSM Wikipedia integration?

Hello, sorry for late answer.
The highlighting of osm objects is my next plan for the OpenLayers-map. See:

With OpenLayers it should be no problem to support such vector overlays, 
in WikiMiniAtlas it could be much more difficult.

We need in each case be careful that the vector-objects are not to complex.

But I don't want to use the OSM-IDs because they seem me not stable 
enough. My actual plan is to work with the Wikipedia-tags inside OSM.
Your example with such a list of objects in one article is (if this list 
is in wikipedia) a new problem to solve  but we could use as Tag 
something like "wikipedia=lang:articlename#objectname"

I would be happy to find some help for this project, so if somebody
