[sci.med.imaging 249] Reg: Dicom Dose DoseGridScaling(3004,000E) attribute


Hi Folks,
I have one question regarding RT Dose attribute.
Dose Grid Scaling is required in case of dose contains Grid Dose
information.
According to attribute description,  if we multiply pixel data with
dose grid scaling we can get dose in grids.
But here i am  not understanding why this attributes in type 1.
If dose contains IsoDose Curves/Points or DVH  why this attribute
required.
Is there any usage with this attribute in case of Curves / DVH?
