Another safety belt question

Well ... I finally went to the garage and took a look at my newer Simpson belts.  It appears they have a born on
date of April 2001.  My gut tells me I need to purchase new belts for this coming January Nationals - Am I
correct, or has this belt issue still not been fully sorted ???
