inner city kids?

For a historical overview of efforts to save the corner and the neighborhood
from LAUSD bulldozers, please see:

And please spread word to all those whom you think would support this cause.

Time is of the essence:  the parking lot design can be changed but the
bulldozers are due to arrive by August 1, 2009.  Please help now!

We believe our LAUSD school board member and board president, Monica Garcia,
wants to help make this happen, but she is very pre-occupied right now with
the budgetary crisis.  Help her do the right thing.  Let her know you have
signed the petition:  monica.garcia <at> lausd.net
