I’m trying to simulate the font skewing that the Flash IDE does for embedded fonts that do not have an actual Italic version. Is there an existing way of iterating through each glyph, and applying skewx perhaps?

Am I at least thinking about this in the correct way?

Any help or direction very much appreciated!
