[FSUG-TSR] Linux Booting error

My linux crashes while booting. I tried Debian and Phoenix live but was to no avail.

My system configuration
Processor Intel Pentium 4 CPU 1.60GHz, 512 mb of RAM, Intel 845GV/ICH4, NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 display adapter

The error report shown while booting for Phoenix live was

call Trace
[<c01040c>] apic_timer_interrupt +0x1c/0x30
<6> agp.gart: AGP aperture is 128M <at> 0xe0000000
\sbin\hotplug: line 30: 3090   Segmentation fault $I  $1
\etc\hotplug\pci.rc: line 29: 3087: Segmentation fault \sbin\hotplug pci
\etc\rc.d\rc.hotplug: line 30: 3076 segmentation fault $RC $1
INIT: id "c1 respawning too fast: disabled for 5 mins
"           c2        "              "             "
"           c3        "               "             "
"            c4        "               "             "
"
"
INIT: no more processes in run level

Any help to overcome this error would be appreciated.
