Re: humm, wassup?

guys,

thanks for assuring me that u guys still remember me..

first things first... sorry to disappoint u guys, but it's the other Amit Gupta (the taller breed), i guess, who is the Project Manager at Infy.. cos i'm employed with Reliance Communications at Chennai and am responsible for planning their Data Networks here. I have been here for two years now and so far things look pretty decent....

catching up where i began, soru, u need'nt disclose ur adventures when we shared the room during our short stay in delhi.. i have more to tell than you can ever imagine... hahaha. (the devil laugh)

sarin.. dude, ur english is just apt and hence i don't think there any reason for u to take any sort of breaks.. if i am not wrong, u were the first guy to make it thru the PI for VCustomer... (though u did'nt join later) and what is that "SOMETHING" that u're doing in TTL??

ok kary.. i am not SICK... :-)) but thanks a lot dude.. yaar, lekin, aise publically toh mat daat..

well all the married people.. and the ones to tie the knot soon... CONGRATULATIONS.. to add to that list is also Saurabh Gupta who got married on the 10th of this month - if he did'nt run away from the 'mandap' (which i'm sure he did'nt) ;-))

lots more later..

Chao!!

Re: humm, wassup?

Hello everyone,
Well good to see everyone trying to contact each and another after a long time when most of us are settled, few of them are married too(Soumya, Harshal, etc.) or gonna be soon (Arihant).
I am in SUNY, Binghamton trying to complete my second semester. I came here last Fall and before that i was just roaming around Northern  India, doing nothing substantial however still utilized my time. However that was all past, now I am here in US :) and doing OK if not very good (that was in terms of studies). But to tell you the truth education system in this country  is really good, it let your mind do more work than any other's, and that is what one needs to learn or to be innovative.
Uptill now things are good, I am enjoying, studying and then stressed also sometimes due to assignments load(whcih is a lot in the MS program), but overall its an enjoyment package.
AMG you are not a kind of personality which nebody could forget, and the person who can tolerate you in the same room for more than a month, then its really hard, believe me or ask Mathur.
Well good to see this group alive and thanks Sarin, Amit and Abhijit, who started with this idea ............................
Hope we see many more mails on the dygroup.
Saurabh Agarwal.

Re: humm, wassup?

hmm..keep the emails flowing...

about my journey so far..

I have been in the MS program at Virginia Tech, VA for
almost a couple of years now..Graduation is not yet in
sight though :-(

My thesis keeps me occupied for most of the time..the
rest is spent in watching beautiful babes on
campus...no further luck on that front though!

My India trip in December was awesome..Pune has really
changed fast..and the flyovers will ease traffic in
the coming years.

I am available for chat most of the time (as if u guys
didnt notice that already)....so ping me whenever u
feel like talking to someone..

Cheers!
Abhi

Re: humm, wassup?

hmmm... :)

Good job folks, nice to see some life on this rather dead group ;)
Sarin, Soru, good to know about you! I think emails from this group to
me are being spam blocked at some point!

I'm continuing with my MS at Kansas State University and I hope to
graduate by mid-May. Its a pretty descent university and I'm happy to be
here! I came here in August 2005. Working on my thesis right now, with
some not-so-interesting work that pays off for my tution and living.
Rest, I hope to come back to India after couple years of job here in US.
I'II be joining VMware after graduation. BTW, Vinod Mudliar is also here
with me doing his MS. Will ping him to reply to this thread separately.

Best,
AG
